Moissanite Care
Moissanite Care
Originally discovered in 1893 by Nobel Prize-winning chemist Dr. Henri Moissan. Natural moissanite is incredibly rare and today, this stunning gemstone is meticulously lab-created to ensure ethical sourcing and flawless clarity.
Extreme Durability: Scoring a 9.25 on the Mohs scale of hardness, Moissanite is the second hardest gemstone in the world (right behind a diamond). It is highly resistant to scratching, chipping, and breaking, making it the perfect match for active lifestyles.
Unrivaled Fire: Moissanite actually has a higher refractive index than a natural diamond. This means it bends light more efficiently, resulting in a more brilliant, fiery sparkle that catches the eye from across the room.
How to Care for Your Moissanite Ring
Moissanite is exceptionally durable, but because it is set in our 14K Gold and Platinum plated bases, a little bit of mindful care will keep your Flex Gem looking brand new for years to come.
Routine Cleaning
Lotions, sweat, and gym chalk can temporarily dull the surface of any gemstone. Restoring your ring's brilliant fire is incredibly simple:
Soak: Fill a small bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Let the ring soak for 1-2 minutes.
Brush: Gently scrub the moissanite stone and the metal setting with a baby toothbrush or a soft-bristle brush to remove trapped dirt.
Rinse & Dry: Rinse under warm water and pat dry with a microfiber or lint-free cloth.
